I’ve been dreaming of turning my stories into audio for awhile, encouraged by kind folks like you.
I learned about a free recording studio at the St. Paul Public Library, a maker’s space. I jumped at that chance, well sort of jumped. It took me awhile to muster the gumption to schedule myself for the orientation, attend, and then schedule another session to learn the equipment. I was mostly stumbling but I did get some stuff done. Snowstorms kept me taking my time.
And that was good.
Because in the meantime, I learned about an intriguing class at The Loft. I promptly registered, no delay! Digital Storytelling! After eight weeks of more stumbling with this new video format, hours of editing, and an actual skinned knee, I am so happy to be sharing one of my nature story meditation a la video!
And alongside that, I finally completed audio of my story too.
My next dream is to create more audio and video.
Please follow me on Vimeo where I will be sharing new video nature story meditations as I create them.
And have you heard of Insight Timer? This is where I will be sharing my audio nature story meditations. More details to come on that. If you are looking for a tool to support your meditation practice, you might like it as much as I do.
Hope you enjoy you day.
